Ozark’s Chamber:
Proud of our past. Ready to embrace the future!

Approximately 90 business men and women of Ozark, Missouri met on Monday, October 14, 1949 at the Smith Hotel and successfully organized the Chamber of Commerce. There were 49 members and annual dues were a whopping $15 for men, $7.50 for women. One month later, Ozark joined the National Chamber of Commerce.

It wasn’t until 1991 that the Ozark Chamber acquired its first office at the corner of 3rd & Church Street Downtown. It was sold in 2002, and the Chamber relocated to its current location at the Intersection of Highways 65 & 14.

Over the past century, Ozark has been blessed by a tremendous number of individuals who used their available time and skills to better our community. While much has been accomplished, we feel that Ozark’s best days lie ahead!

The boom in our population over the past 10 years has brought an infusion of professionals into our community. As more and more top-notch leaders partner with the Chamber, we sense a can-do attitude that will result in additional business growth.
